Speeds from 35Mbps download all the way up to approximately 950Mbps (1 Gigabit) download.
Fram Broadband host our equipment in local telephone exchanges to give us direct access to fibre. If your house is not pre-connected, on installation, an Openreach engineer will remove your copper telephone line and replace it with an optical fibre line. We’ll then deliver you a router to plug in to it.
When migrating from Fixed Wireless to FTTP we’ll cover all the installation costs as well as providing new routers if required.
Yes we do, though if we have reservations about potential speeds available over your copper lines we will advise before/during the order process and potentially recommend alternatives.
With a move to Fibre-to-the-premises, Openreach do not directly offer telephone services, with the expectation that ISP’s (BT included) will provide their own Voice over IP services. We offer this in conjuction with a major VOIP provider and can arrange for porting of telephone numbers.
We're committed to getting people access to broadband in the hardest-to-reach areas, and therefore our wireless network will continue as normal, subject to the ongoing support of those who host base stations for us. We will continue to upgrade and expand the wireless network as long as there is a need for it. Our reason for offering FTTP alongside is that where available, FTTP speeds are usually faster than current wireless technology.
