How does it work?

We have multiple dedicated fibre connections back to London Docklands where we tie into the global internet. We then take this feed from key buildings and beam it wirelessly to a series of access points across Suffolk. An aerial on your home or office connects to these access points and transmits the internet to you.

What are access points?

Access points are high speed wireless internet hubs mainly located on churches and other high points in the local area.

Coverage

Coverage is usually a 4-5 mile radius around each of our Access Points shown on the map to the right. We are currently expanding the network in areas with registered demand. Please contact us even if you think you may be out of range, for us to arrange a free survey.

FAQs

Yes, but it depends on your current provider. Some providers such as Virgin will not allow you to retain your email address once you leave their service. However, Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail will allow you to retain your email address regardless of provider. So will Fram Broadband. You must contact your email provider to find out their policy.
WiFi is the ability for users to connect to the internet from an enabled device, such as a smart phone, tablet or laptop, via a WiFi router. Wireless broadband is the provision of connectivity to your home or business via aerials, in place of a telephone or cable connection. This signal cannot be connected to by a standard WiFi device and requires an aerial and router to be accessed by you.
No, you can cancel your landline and still receive this service.
We provide a router as part of the install package, however if you wish to keep your existing one we can usually reconfigure it when we install.
Yes, our standard installation charge is £200. If your installation is non-standard and requires additional works we will inform you at the survey and provide a quote.
Yes (subject to survey) but this will be treated as a non-standard installation and will require a quote for the additional works.
Provision of equipment and installation including all wiring to a pre-agreed location in your house/business. When we leave a premises after an installation you will have an aerial at the agreed point, a Cat5e cable connection from the aerial to a power source (double socket) and router in a pre-agreed location. This will provide you with a WiFi network and a hardwired connection if you choose.
Generally no. Most of our aerials are small enough that it does not constitute a material change to the building and therefore does not require a permit.
In most cases the aerial will be installed at the highest point that we can reach, although this is dependent on the direction of the access point we are connecting to. Most often, we attach aerials to chimneys, gable ends and TV aerial poles.
